End caps are simple devices used to cover the ends of the pipes. Between the time the pipes are manufactured and transported to the end user, considerable time is lost. If the ends of pipes are not securely closed, there is likelihood of dust and insects accumulating in the pipes. Under moist weather condition, the inside of the pipe may even corrode. In such circumstances, the pipes are likely to be rejected by the user. To prevent such a situation, End Caps are used so that the pipes remain dust and insect free and the possibility of corrosion is limited.
The End Caps:
The caps are made of plastic. They are fixed to the end of the pipes. They also protect the sharp edges of the pipes from getting damaged during transportation. Caps which are made of plastic are light weight and therefore they do not increase the overall weight of the pipe. Therefore it does not cost too much burden on the cost of transportation.
These Plastic Caps are available in various shapes and colors to meet the various requirement of the pipes manufacturer. The Caps are manufactured using IDPE or HDPE depending on the specific need of the customer. Some end caps are also manufactured using IIDPE and PP. The caps are flexible and therefore they are appropriate for pipes of varying thickness.
The caps are suitable for pipes which are used in agricultural industries, instrumentation, heat exchange units, boilers etc. They are also widely used in automobile sector, processing industries, steel industries etc. Of course the requirement of caps in these industries may vary to their specific needs and in such cases, the Caps are specially designed.
